The third seeded Indo-Spanish combination, the only seeded team left in the draw, won 6-4, 6-2 against American twins Hunter Johnson and Yates Johnson.
In the $25,000 ITF men’s Futures in Nigeria, Arjun Kadhe in partnership with Ronnie Schneider of the US was beaten in the doubles final 10-3 in the super tie-break by Remi Boutillier and Tom Jomby of France.
In the ITF women’s circuit in Cairo, former Asian junior champion Snehadevi Reddy’s fine was stopped in the semifinals by the top seed Nuria Parrizas-Diaz of Spain.
National champion Riya Bhatia lost the doubles final 10-4 in the super tie-break in partnership with Shelby Talcott of the US, against Petia Arshinkova and Gergana Topalova of Bulgaria.
