Top seed Prajnesh Gunneswaran cruised past Nicolas Barrientos of Colombia in the second round of the USD 54,160 Challenger in Liuzhou, China, on Tuesday.

In the pre-quarterfinals, Prajnesh will be challenged by Tung-Lin Wu of Chinese Taipei.

In the ATP Challenger in Australia, Sasi Kumar Mukund beat Sebastiann Fanselow of Germany 7-6 (6), 6-3 to make the pre-quarterfinals, after a bye in the first round.

In the ITF women’s tournament in Tunisia, Humera Shaik qualified into the main draw, but was beaten 6-7 (4), 6-3, 6-3 by Selina Pichler of Austria in the first round.
