Pranjala loses doubles final in Egypt

Pranjala Yadlapalli in partnership with Pei-Chi Lee of Chinese Taipei, was beaten by fourth seeds Martina Colmegna and Valeria Solovyeva in the doubles final of ITF women’s tennis tournament in Egypt.

Third seeds, Pranjala Yadlapalli in partnership with Pei-Chi Lee of Chinese Taipei, was beaten by fourth seeds Martina Colmegna and Valeria Solovyeva in the doubles final of the $15,000 ITF women’s tennis tournament in Egypt on Saturday.

The 18-year-old Pranjala had won four doubles titles in the professional circuit last year.

Doubles (final): Martina Colmegna (Ita) & Valeria Solovyeva (Rus) bt Pei-Chi Lee (Tpe) & Pranjalla Yadlapalli 6-2, 6-3.
