Sharan-Lopez duo sends top seeds packing in Lyon Open

Divij Sharan and Guillermo Garcia-Lopez defeated top seeds Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi and Jean-Julien Rojer 6-4, 6-2 in the pre-quarters of the Lyon Open.

Divij Sharan in partnership with Guillermo Garcia-Lopez of Spain knocked out the top seeds Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi and Jean-Julien Rojer 6-4, 6-2 in the doubles pre-quarterfinals of the ATP tennis tournament in Lyon, France.

There was more good news for the Indian camp, as Purav Raja in association with Fabrice Martin of France beat Hans Podlipnik-Castillo and Jackson Withrow 7-6(6), 7-6(5).

The third Indian in the field, Rohan Bopanna was seeded second with Edouard Roger-Vasselin of France.
