Sriram, Kadhe reach semis of Bangkok Challenger

Sriram Balaji and Arjun Kadhe reached the doubles semifinals at the $54,160 Challenger tennis tournament in Bangkok.

Sriram Balaji and Arjun Kadhe beat Harri Heliovaara and Toshihide Matsui 4-6, 7-5, 10-3 to make the doubles semifinals of the $54,160 Challenger tennis tournament in Bangkok on Thursday.

In the semifinals, the Indian pair which had ousted the Ratiwatana twins, Sanchai and Sonchat for the loss of four games in the first round, will challenge the top seeds Cheng-Peng Hsieh and Christopher Rungkat.

Zeel Desai went down fighting in three sets to Anna Morgina in the pre-quarterfinals of the ITF women’s event in Egypt.
