Sriram Balaji and Vishnu Vardhan won the doubles title in a Challenger tennis tournament in China on Saturday.

The Indian pair beat fourth seeds Austin Krajicek and Jackson Withrow of the US 7-6 (3), 7-6 (3) in the final.

The champion team collected 90 ATP points and $4,650 and the runner-up, 55 points and $2,700.

Quite thrilled with the title, especially after losing the last four tournaments in the first round, Vishnu said that an invaluable tip from Rohan Bopanna, who live-streamed the semifinals on Friday night had helped the Indian pair put more pressure on the opponents.

"I kept working on my game and happy that the result showed this week," said Vishnu, quite pleased that Balaji was back into the circuit after his injury and competing hard.
