The top seeds Marcel Granollers and Ben Mclachlan stopped the fine run of Ramkumar Ramanathan with his partner Kwon Soonwoo of Korea, with a 4-6, 6-3, 10-2 victory in the doubles final of the €137,560 Challenger tennis tournament on grass in Surbiton, England, on Sunday.
The champion team collected 125 ATP points and €7,870, while Ramkumar and partner had to be content with 75 points and €4,570.

Meanwhile, in the ATP tour event in Stuttgart on grass, top seed Prajnesh Gunneswaran retired early in the third set owing to a shoulder problem against alternate entrant Matteo Viola of Italy. Sasi Kumar Mukund, playing on a wild card, competed well before being
beaten 6-3, 6-4 by Gregoire Barrere of France.
