Timea Babos secured her second WTA Tour title, with a three-set success over Lucie Safarova at the Hungarian Ladies Open, as her 2017 season took a sharp upturn.
The Hungarian world number 33 had lost each of her singles matches this year before getting back on home turf.
And the familiar surroundings have helped her immensely, seeded trio Oceane Dodin, Julia Goerges and Safarova all falling at her hands.
Babos had to fight from behind to secure the trophy after losing a first-set tie-break, but she wrapped up a 6-7 (4-7), 6-4, 6-3 success in close to two and a half hours on court.
