Women's defending champion Tamil Nadu-1 beat Tamil Nadu-4 21-9, 21-5 in the quarterfinals of the senior National beach volleyball championship at the Besant Nagar beach here on Tuesday.
Tamil Nadu-2 and 3 teams also qualified for the semifinals.
Men's defending champion Andhra Pradesh-2 beat Telangana-2 21-14, 21-8 in the Pre-quarterfinals.
Andhra Pradesh-1 suffered a loss, though, going down 19-21, 19-21 to Goa-2.
The men's and the women's finalists will qualify to represent India in the Asian Games in August.
