Sarita stunned World championships bronze medallist Pooja Dhanda 6-5 in a thrilling women's 57kg bout of the Pro Wrestling League Season 4 at the Gautam Buddha University indoor hall here on Friday.

Sarita, an Asian championships silver medallist, remained in the hunt as she gave Pooja some difficult moments in a series of swift explosive moves and emerge as the winner.

Three-time World champion Haji Aliyev recorded a facile win for Yodha in men's 65kg, while World championships bronze medallist Epp Mae pinned her rival in 27 seconds in women's 76kg to draw parity.

Olympian Sandeep Tomar overcame the resistance of young Rahul to score a 5-1 victory in the men's 57kg contest and restore Yodha's lead.

Vanesa Kaladzinskaya, a World champion in 2017, displayed her class to outsmart promising Ritu Phogat 8-3 in the women's 53kg clash to equalise.

Asian Games bronze medallist Georgi Sakandelidze trounced Akash Antil 16-1 in the 125kg battle to make it 3-2 before Sarita sealed the issue for Dangal.
