Vinesh Phogat added to India's medal tally in Yasar Dogu 2019 Ranking Series tournament in Istanbul, by clinching gold medal in the 53kg category on Saturday.

The Indian wrestler won all her four bouts comprehensively (11-1, 7-0, 14-4, 9-5). Last week, she had bagged a gold in grand prix of Spain.

Earlier, Seema and Manju Kumari won a gold medal each in the 50kg and 59kg category respectively.

In the 50kg finals, Seema stopped Valeriya Chepsarakova of Russia from winning her second career Ranking Series title with a 3-2 win. Manju thrashed Katsiaryna Hanchar Yanushkevich of Belarus 13-2, in the 59kg finals.

But it was a heartbreak for Sakshi Malik and Pooja Dhanda as both the wrestlers lost their respective events and crashed out of the tournament.

In men's wrestling, Rahul Aware won gold in the 61kg freestyle category on Friday, while Utkarsh clinched the bronze in the same weight division.

Aware, an Asian bronze medallist, clinched his first career Ranking Series title with a tactical 4-1 victory over Munir Aktas of Turkey.
