WFI may postpone second season of PWL

The second season of the Pro Wrestling League (PWL), which was scheduled to start from December 15, is likely to be postponed. The Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) may come out with an announcement related to this in the next few days.

Even as sources claimed that the PWL was postponed due to the impact of “demonetisation,” issues related to finding sponsors for teams cannot be ruled out.

It is learnt that the second season is likely to begin in January.

The top WFI officials were not available for comments.
