Peng Shuai clinched her second WTA title on home soil by seeing off Nao Hibino in an all-Asian final at the Jiangxi Open in Nanchang.
World number 32 Peng added to her maiden victory in Tianjin last year by defeating Hibino 6-3 6-2, delighting the home crowd by getting her hands on the trophy and dropping just one set across the tournament.
The Chinese second seed was broken in the first game of the match but charged back to take a 5-2 lead, with Hibino managing to fend off three set points in game eight.
Peng had it wrapped up when Hibino fired a forehand return long and she raced 5-1 up in the second, putting her opponent under relentless pressure.
Hibino held in the seventh game but it merely delayed the inevitable, with the Japanese burying a backhand in the net as Peng converted her second match point to complete a comfortable triumph.
