Agnieszka Radwanska's strong Australian Open preparation continued with victory over Alison Riske in the Shenzhen Open final on Saturday. The Pole claimed her 18th WTA Tour title with a 6-3 6-2 win over American Riske in the decider in China.

Radwanska completed last year by taking out the WTA Finals and she has started 2016 in similarly fine style. The 2012 Wimbledon runner-up clinched the title without dropping a set, a huge confidence boost ahead of the year's first Grand Slam.

Riske, in her second WTA final and first since 2014, once again proved no match for Radwanska, who won their only previous meeting in similarly convincing fashion last year.

Radwanska served nine aces in Saturday's win and broke three times, with her victory wrapped up in one hour, 16 minutes.
