In a petition filed at the 24 Parganas district court on Thursday, Lahiri stated, "In order to avoid the caveat filed by him in the appropriate court of jurisdiction, Mr. Sett has fraudulently misrepresented the police station of the office of Bengal Chess Association as Purba Jadavpur instead of Survey Park."
Lahiri had called for BCA elections on October 4. However, the BCA moved court and got status quo on election activities till November 20.
