>Report : Thanks to Siddhesh Lad’s unbeaten 101 and his twin century partnerships with Tare and Nayar, the latter being unbroken, Mumbai ended the opening day against Hyderabad at a respectable 250 for five.

Tamil Nadu v Karnataka in Vizag

Toss: Tamil Nadu

>Report : After pacer Aswin Crist scythed through the star-studded line-up of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu got itself to 111 for four at stumps on Day One, with the experienced Dinesh Karthik (31 batting, 69b, 5x4) and skipper Abhinav Mukund (three batting) together.

Gujarat v Odisha in Jaipur

>Report : Odisha pacers made most of the green pitch to reduce Gujarat to 71 for 6 but an unbeaten 126-run partnership between Gandhi and Kalaria meant Gujarat ended the day at a fighting 197 for 6.

Authorities suspended the match briefly after an hour and a half of play in the morning as a ball viciously took off after pitching to hit Parthiv Patel in the shoulder. They ordered the roller to level the pitch. Early lunch was called and match resumed nearly an hour later.
