Fall of wickets on Day 3

India, coming on the back of a strong show on Day 2, failed to counter the new pink ball, which moved about quite a bit. After Jasprit Bumrah's dismissal at 15, India lost four more wickets [Cheteshwar Pujara, Mayank Agarwal, Ajinkya Rahane, and Virat Kohli] for only four runs.

Australia pacers Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins made full use of the conditions, sharing the remaining nine wickets between them after opener Prithvi Shaw was dismissed on Friday.
