England was six for no loss at stumps on day two after ton-up Cheteshwar Pujara gave India a 27-run lead.

Hello and welcome to Sportar's live blog session of the second day's play between host England and visitor India during the fourth Test at The Rose Bowl in Southampton on Friday.

The opening day of the Test mostly belonged to the Indians. England, having won the toss and elected to bat first, could not come up with the best of it's play as the Indian bowlers got the better of its batsmen.

Pacer Jasprit Bumrah was the star of the Indian bowling attack, claiming three for 46, while the other bowlers contributed decently.

England was bundled for 246, while Sam Curran, who missed the third Test in Nottingham, which England lost, was the top scorer with 78 runs.

India is currently 19 for no loss, and the English bowlers will have a atsk at hand to get rid of the Indian innings soon in order to make a comeback in the Test.
