His poor form reflected in the IPL auction table as well as Murali Vijay went unsold on Saturday. With a base price of Rs 2 crore, Vijay found no takers. Not known as a destructive T20 batsman, the Tamil Nadu batsman went out of favour in the auctions.
Playing for Kings XI Punjab, Vijay had missed the IPL last season due to wrist and shoulder injuries. Vijay underwent surgery on his right wrist and left shoulder.
