IPL 2025: Mumbai Indians appoints Paras Mhambrey as bowling coach
Mhambrey, who returns to Mumbai Indians, will work along with current bowling coach Lasith Malinga.

On Wednesday, Mumbai Indians announced the return of Paras Mhambrey as its bowling coach ahead of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season. Mhambrey will collaborate with the current bowling coach, Lasith Malinga.
This follows the recent confirmation of Mahela Jayewardene’s return as head coach, taking over from Mark Boucher. Mhambrey previously served on the Mumbai Indians coaching staff, during which the team achieved notable successes, including winning the IPL in 2013 and the Champions League T20 titles in 2011 and 2013, as well as a runner-up finish in 2010 and multiple playoff appearances.
Most recently, Mhambrey was the bowling coach for the Indian men’s team, contributing to its T20 World Cup victory earlier this year.
