Michael Bevan has gone back home due to personal reasons.

If three straight defeats was not bad enough for Madurai Super Giants, the team was dealt another blow off the field after its coach Michael Bevan ended ties with the side prior to Friday’s game.

The Australian worked with the side for two weeks and left for home two days back.

According to the team management, Bevan has gone back home due to personal reasons, with team manager Russell Radhakrishnan and chief cricket consultant A.R. Srikkanth being promoted as coaches for the rest of the season.
