Champion suffers early jolt in title race
Manchester City fell behind Liverpool by five points after the 3-2 defeat against Norwich City at Carrow Road on Saturday. Norwich led the match 2-0 and 3-1 either side of half-time and, under relentless pressure from City in the closing stages, saw out the match to win 3-2 and all three points.
Defensive errors contributed to the champion's early-season defeat, with central defenders Nicholas Otamendi and John Stones culpable on a couple of occasions, leading to Norwich scoring.

Liverpool came from a goal behind to secure all three points against Newcastle United and maintain its perfect start to the season. After Jetro Willems put the Magpies ahead, Sadio Mane led the Reds' reply with a brace, putting his team ahead before half-time.
Mohamed Salah added a third to make sure of the victory. With City losing to Norwich and Leicester City suffering a defeat against Manchester United, Liverpool remains the only unbeaten team in the Premier League.

Tammy Abraham continues dream run
Entrusted with the No. 9 shirt by Frank Lampard, Tammy Abraham continues to deliver the goods for Chelsea. On Saturday, Abraham scored his first for the Blues in its 5-2 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux.
It was further justification of Lampard's faith in youth, with Mason Mount and Fikayo Tomori scoring either side of Abraham's treble.

Leicester City loses unbeaten run
Expectations regarding Leicester City were high ahead of its trip to Manchester United, but the Foxes failed to maintain their early-season form and suffered a 1-0 defeat.
Marcus Rashford won and dispatched the penalty to help United return to winning ways after a three-match winless run. For Brendan Rodgers and his players, it was a missed opportunity to signal their intentions of finishing in the top six.

Heung-Min Son breathes life into Spurs' campaign
The South Korean forward scored a brace while Erik Lamela and Serge Aurier scored a goal apiece to help Tottenham Hotspur to a 4-0, season-reviving win over Crystal Palace.
Son's ruthless finishing early in the match set the tone for the comfortable win and for Tottenham to continue to put together a run of victories, the 27-year-old needs to be at his sharpest.
