Chennai City appoints Soundararajan as new coach

Soundarajan has a wealth of experience under his belt having managed the Under-16 and Under-19 national sides.

Chennai City FC had sacked its coach Robin Charles Raja seven games into the new season due to unsatisfactory results.

Chennai City has appointed formed Tamil Nadu coach V. Soundararajan as the manager after sacking Robin Charles Raja. He will takevoer the charge from immediate effect.

Soundarajan has a wealth of experience under his belt having managed the Under-16 and Under-19 national sides. He got his AFC Pro License in 2005 during a camp in Germany.

The 53-year-old has managed Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh state sides in Santosh trophy competitions.
