The Australian rugby team had an unforgettable night on day four of the Rio Olympics 2016 as it clinched the first gold medal of the rugby sevens event.
The night was also special for Isadora Cerullo, 25, a member of the Brazilian squad that finished ninth. After the medal ceremony was over, Isadora's girlfriend, Marjorie Enya, a manager at Deodoro Stadium, asked her to marry her.
"I know rugby people are amazing and they would embrace it."
"She is the love of my life," she said.
Cerullo, 25, was part of the Brazil squad who finished ninth in the inaugural Olympic outing for sevens. The couple live in Sao Paulo, where Cerullo - who has dual US citizenship - moved to focus on making Brazil's squad for the Games.
"The Olympic Games can look like closure but for me it's starting a new life with someone," said Enya, "I wanted to show people that love wins."
