India's exquisite player Saurav Ghosal was beaten by Diego Elias of Peru in the second-round match of the Hong Kong Open on Wednesday, here. The tournament is a PSA World tour platinum event.

The former world junior champion, Elias, a far improved player in the last two years, needed just 35 minutes to script an impressive 11-2, 11-2, 13-11 win over the Indian and make it to the pre-quarterfinal round. The lone Indian in the fray, Joshna Chinappa plays her third round match on Thursday.
