Third seeds Rohan Bopanna and Divij Sharan scored a 7-6(2), 6-2 victory over Mate Pavic and Nenad Zimonjic in the doubles pre-quarterfinals of the 586,140 ATP tennis tournament in Bulgaria on Wednesday.

It was a morale boosting victory for the Asian Games champions as Pavic is ranked No.7 in the world and had won the Australian Open last year, while Zimonjic was a former world No.1 with three Grand Slam doubles titles including two in Wimbledon.
