Prajnesh loses in Tiburon Challenger semis

Prajnesh Gunneswaran collected 33 ATP points and $5020 for making to the semifinals of Tiburon Challenger.

Eighth seed Cameron Norrie of Britain stopped the fine run of Prajnesh Gunneswaran as he beat him 6-3, 6-2 in the semifinals of the $100,000 Challenger tennis tournament in the US. Davis Cupper Prajnesh collected 33 ATP points and $5020. In the ITF women’s event in Egypt, Kanika Vaidya was beaten by her doubles partner, second seed Pei-Chi Lee of Chinese Taipei in the semifinals. In the doubles final, Kanika and partner were beaten 10-7 by the Taipei duo of Pei Hsuan Chen and Fang-Hsien Wu.

Singles (semifinals): Pei-Chi Lee (Tpe) beat Kanika Vaidya 6-3, 6-4. Doubles (final): Pei-Hsuan Chen & Fang-Hsien Wu (Tpe) beat Pei-Chi Lee (Tpe) & Kanika VAidya 6-0, 1-6, 10-7.
