Rohan Bopanna reaches quarterfinals in Lyon

Rohan Bopanna in partnership with Edouard Roger-Vasselin of France moved into the doubles quarterfinals with a 3-6, 6-1, 10-5 victory over Greogoire Barrere and Tristan Lamasine of France in the ATP tennis tournament in Lyon, France. Divij Sharan and Purav Raja had earlier made the doubles quarterfinals with different partners.
In the ITF women’s event in Turkey, Jennifer Luikham overcame the disappointment of missing qualification to the singles main draw, by knocking out the second seeds Mariana Drazic and Ena Kajevic of Croatia in the doubles pre-quarterfinals, in partnership with Anri Nagata of Japan. Qualifier Pranjala Yadlapalli made the pre-quarterfinals with a hard-earned victory over wild card Claudia Hoste Ferrer of Spain.
