Ankita Raina was beaten 7-6(1), 6-1 by Vitalia Diatchenko of Russia, but made the doubles quarterfinals with Bibiane Schoofs of the Netherlands in the $125,000 WTA tennis tournament in Chinese Taipei on Wednesday. Ankita and her partner beat Susan Bandecchi of Switzerland and Sarah-Rebecca Sekulic of Germany 6-4, 7-6(4).
