Former Indonesian World No. 3, Simon Santoso clinched the crucial two-point earning Trump Match against R.M.V.Gurusaidutt for Chennai Smashers to score a 4-3 win against Mumbai Rockets, here on Sunday. The Smashers won the men’s doubles, women’s singles and the second men’s singles to gather four points, including the bonus point from the Santoso-Gurusaidutt concluding match of the day. The 30-year-old Santoso is currently ranked 113 in the WBF list. The PBL concluded in the city with a win each for Mumbai Rockets, Hyderabad Hunters and Chennai Smashers. Cine actors Vijaykanth and Akshay Kumar (Brand Ambassador of the PBL, and co-owner, Mumbai Rockets) saw the late evening match between the Smashers and Rockets.
