ONGC, Railways seek to impress in All India basketball tournament

The Commissioner of Rohtak, Chander Parkash IAS, will be the chief guest at the opening ceremony to be held at 3.30 p.m. on August 2.

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), Railways, Punjab and Army will be some of the leading teams in the All India basketball tournament, which will be staged at the Indoor Hall, Rajiv Gandhi State Sports Complex, Rohtak, from August 2 to 6.

Income Tax, Chennai; Indian Air Force, Haryana and Basketball Club of Haryana will be the other teams taking part in the competition , which will feature only the men’s event.

Matches will be played from 4-10 p.m in order to bring in more audience. The Commissioner of Rohtak, Chander Parkash IAS, will be the chief guest at the opening ceremony to be held at 3.30 p.m. on August 2.
