Brian Lara checks into Tendulkar residence

Sachin Tendulkar took to social media to reveal his guest for the weekend.

Sachin Tendulkar had a surprise visitor on Friday morning as his old friend and former West Indies captain, Brian Lara, came calling.

Lara, who is in India on personal assignments, caught up with Tendulkar for a while at his residence in Mumbai and the Indian icon made it a point to take to Twitter to reveal about their meeting. "Great way to welcome the weekend ... surprise visit from a good friend. Chillin’ with @BrianLara #FridayFun," Tendulkar wrote.

Considered the greats of all times, both Lara and Tendulkar have played together for a long time and are good friends off the field.

A couple of days ago, Lara was in Jaipur as the chief guest at a talent hunt programme organised by Rajasthan Royals.
