The final of the Col. C.K. Nayudu Trophy (Under-23) inter-state cricket tournament is likely to see a tense finish between arch-rivals Mumbai and Delhi. At the end of the penultimate day's play at the Sharad Pawar Cricket Academy, Delhi needed 115 runs to win, with eight wickets in hand.
Day Two report: Pacers keep Mumbai in the hunt
The home team continued to claw its way back into the game to set Delhi a challenging target of 238 runs. Siddharth Akre batted well with the tail to ensure Delhi had to chase down a 200-plus total.
After dismissing Mumbai for 267 in the second innings, Anuj Rawat scored an unbeaten 67, his second fifty of the match, to keep the visiting team in the hunt for the title.
