Bangladesh’s Mustafizur Rahman burst onto the international scene last June against India, becoming only the second bowler to take five-wicket hauls in his first two ODIs.

Sussex have signed young Bangladeshi star Mustafizur Rahman as their second overseas player for the 2016 season, the club announced on Wednesday.

The left-arm seamer will be available for the whole of the Natwest T20 Blast after an IPL stint with Sunrisers Hyderabad. The 20-year-old will stay in Hove for another month after New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor departs in July.

Mustafizur burst onto the international scene last June against India, becoming only the second bowler to take five-wicket hauls in his first two ODIs.

"He is a cricketer with incredible ability and is currently one of the bright young talents of world cricket," said Sussex coach Mark Davis.

"His unorthodox bowling variations make him a very difficult customer to bat against, and he will be a brilliant addition to our team."
