Ben Stokes' England is coming into the fifth Test against India on the back of a 3-0 whitewash of New Zealand in a three-match Test series.

England announced its squad on Monday for the rearranged fifth Test against India, which begins on Friday in Edgbaston. Wicketkeeper Sam Billings was added to the 15-man squad.

India leads the series 2-1 but will have its task cut out against England, which is coming off a 3-0 clean sweep of New Zealand under newly appointed Test captain Ben Stokes and coach Brendon McCullum. The fifth Test, scheduled to be played at Old Trafford last year, was cancelled following COVID-19 cases in the Indian camp.
