Australia opener David Warner scored the highest score of the ICC World Cup 2019, when he belted the Bangladesh bowlers to all parts of the ground en route his 166 at Trent Bridge on Thursday.

He bettered England's Jason Roy and Australia's Aaron Finch (both scored 153) to become the highest scorer of this editon.
His knock came in 147 balls, which was studded with 14 boundaries and five sixes.
He shared an opening partnership of 121 runs with Aaron Finch and 192 for the second wicket with Usman Khawaja.

The partnership between Khawaja and Warner was also the highest in this edition of the World Cup, bettering the 189-run association between Joe Root and Eoin Morgan against Afghanistan a couple of days ago.
Warner got a life early on, when he was dropped on 10 by Sabbir Rahman at backward point, off Mashrafe Mortaza.
Warner never gave another chance to Bangladesh and took its bowlers to the cleaners.
Once he got to his 100, he raised the ante by getting to 150 off just 29 balls.
