India A and England Lions will face off once again in the second one-day match in Thiruvananthapuram on Friday.

India A will attempt to extend its winning streak over England Lions as the two teams lock horns in the second tie of the five-match one-day series at the Sports Hub, Kariyavattom, on Friday. On Wednesday, the Indians, chasing a target of 286, had romped home by three wickets with five balls to spare.  Ishan Kishan did damage in the second half of the innings after skipper Ajinkya Rahane, Shreyas Iyer and Anmolpreet Singh did set the momentum. While this should have come as a welcome boost for the side, the Indians should be worried as none of the six bowlers were able to make any impact. Considering the Ranji Trophy match, a Twenty20 and an ODI match that happened recently at the venue all turned out to low scoring affairs, it was surprising to see the England Lions skipper Sam Billings score a stroke-filled century after Alex Davies had given the side a steady start, scoring an half-century. The Indians also managed to chase down the target.

It will be interesting to see what changes the sides make for the second one-day match.
