A clinical India A women completed clean sweep over Australia A after registering a 37-run win in the third and final T20 at the BKC Ground here on Friday.

Opting to bat first, India A was off to a jittery start as it lost openers Mithali Raj (7) and Smriti Mandhana (5) early. But Jemimah Rodrigues (38), skipper Harmanpreet Kaur (41) and handy cameos from batters down the order powered the team to a competitive total of 154 for 8 in 20 overs. For the visitor, Molly Strano and Maitlan Brown returned with two wickets apiece.

Pooja Vastrakar gave the host an ideal start by striking first over with the scalp of Tahila McGrath (6). Then Georgia Redmayne and Naomi Stalenberg steadied things with a 37-run stand before Deepti struck. After the fall of the top order, the capitulation started for Australia A and was bundled out for 117 in 19.2 overs.

Poonam Yadav returned with figures of 3 for 23, while Vastrakar and Anuja Patil claimed two wickets each.
