Sri Lanka suffered a blow ahead of the limited overs series against India as Kusal Perera and Binura Fernando were ruled out due to injury.

Sri Lanka Cricket confirmed that Perera suffered a right shoulder sprain during a training session, while fast bowler Fernando sprained his left ankle during a practice session on Thursday. The medical team suggested that it is a lateral ligament sprain.
India plays a ODI and T20I series against Sri Lanka in Colombo, starting Sunday.
