Afghanistan stunned India Under-23 by two wickets in a Group A match at the ACC Emerging Teams Cup in Chittagong on Thursday.

Batting first, Baba Aparajith-led India team scored 242-8 in 50 overs, with Hanuma Vihari playing a knock of 59. In reply, Afghans reached the target in 46.3 overs, losing eight wickets.

India U-23: 242 for eight in 50 overs (Hanuma Vihari 59, Shubman Gill 46, Baba Aparajith 38; Naveen ul-Haq four for 54) lost to Afghanistan 246 for eight 46.3 overs (Younas Ahmadzai 51, Samiullah Shenwari 50, Shahidullah Kamal 42).
