Pandey has played in all 14 IPLs so far, and since 2018 has represented Sunrisers Hyderabad. Pandey, a top-order batter and a stalwart for Karnataka in domestic cricket, has more than 400 runs under his belt in the IPL.
Last season, in eight matches, he scored 292 runs with three half-centuries.
