Yuzvendra Chahal wins Purple Cap with 27 wickets in IPL 2022

IPL 2022: Yuzvendra Chahal won the IPL 2022 Purple Cap, bagging 27 wickets in 17 matches.

Yuzvendra Chahal reclaimed the IPL 2022 Purple Cap from Wanindu Hasaranga with two wickets against Chennai Super Kings on Friday.

The Purple Cap is awarded to the leading wicket-taker every season. Royal Challengers Bangalore pacer Harshal Patel won the Purple Cap in IPL 2021, after picking 32 wickets in 15 matches.

In IPL 2022, Yuzvendra Chahal has won the award, picking 27 wickets in 17 matches for Rajasthan Royals.
