CSK vs SRH Star Wars: Bhuvneshwar vs Rayudu

Though Bhuvneshwar Kumar battled a few injuries and didn't look at his dangerous best this season, he will still hold an edge against the CSK batsmen, especially Ambati Rayudu.

Coming back after two years, Chennai Super Kings turned the clock backwards and sped into the play-offs comfortably this season, and Ambati Rayudu deserves a bit of credit for the explosive starts. The right-handed batsman — who appeared in five games last year — came out of nowhere to smash 586 runs in 14 games at an average of 45.07. He even scored his maiden century, coincidentally against Sunrisers Hyderabad — CSK’s strong opponent in the Qualifier 1.

On Tuesday at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, CSK and SRH will fight for a place in the final.

For the Hyderabad unit, Bhuvneshwar Kumar will remain a crucial bowler even though he battled injuries in the recent past. Having claimed only two wickets in the last two games, the India pacer will be hungry for a match-winning performance. If somebody could stop Rayudu, it’s him.
