Scotland cricket fans have been given the opportunity to own a piece of history with a stump from their historic defeat of England being auctioned for charity.
The world's top-ranked ODI side was stunned by Scotland in Edinburgh on June 10, going down by six runs to lose to its neighbour for the first time.
And George Munsey, influential with a knock of 55, has donated a stump from the famous win to be auctioned in support of the Gordon's Fightback campaign, raising funds for MND Scotland.
"However much I prize this memento of an amazing, historic day, it would be an even greater prize if its auction helped to find a cure for MND [motor neurone disease]," Munsey is quoted as saying by the Edinburgh Evening News.
"I hope someone will dig as deep as we did to win it."
Munsey and team-mate Preston Mommsen have signed the stump, with two days remaining on the auction.
