Left-arm spinner Anukul Roy finished with a superb haul of five for 14 to bowl out PNG to a paltry 64 runs in the Group B match. 

Opening bowlers Shivam Mavi and Kamlesh Nagarkoti gave Anukul the perfect stage to wreak havoc.

In reply, captain Prithvi Shaw (57 n.o.,) spearheaded the chase with another half-century as India made it two wins in a row in this competition. Without losing a single wicket, the Rahul Dravid-trained boys romped home in just eight overs.

“I thought there would not be much help in the pitch for bowlers so I decided to concentrate on line and length. I got the desired results and am thankful to the support and guidance I received from the team management,” Roy said.
