FIFA World Cup 2018: Coaches ask fans to respect everyone

FIFA releases a video featuring advice from different coaches and team managers.

Didier Deschamps has asked the fans to “give everything you have in the stands.”

With 13 days to go for the World Cup, Argentina’s team manager has a word of advice for the fans heading to Russia — respect everyone.

“Discrimination on the basis of colour, origin, sexual orientation or religion will not be tolerated,” Jorge Burruchaga, said in a video released by FIFA featuring advice from different coaches and team managers.

According to Russian coach Stanislav Cherchesov, the Fan ID “is like a visa and provides many other benefits, the main one is free travel within and between the host cities.”

‘Arrive early’

“Arrive early to avoid congestion and other problems,” is the message from Gareth Southgate, the England manager.

The fans are also advised to make a note of all the prohibited items and reminded that they will not be allowed to re-enter the stadium once they exit it.

Brazil coach Tite calls for fans to “be ready before the ball starts rolling.” The final message comes from the French manager, Didier Deschamps, who asks the fans to “give everything you have in the stands” and promises to “do the same on the pitch.”
