Shillong, Feb 25 (PTI) Shillong Lajong FC will host new-comers DSK Shivajians in an I-League encounter at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here tomorrow.

The two sides had played out a 1-1 draw when they met at DSK’s home in Pune on Sunday.

Even though the team is placed at the bottom of the table, Shivajians coach Derrick Pereira sounded optimistic about producing better performances.

“There are only nine teams in the league and two or three wins can change things for us,” Pereira said.

The former Salgaocar coach said that the key would be to stay focused and play as a unit.

Talking about the performance of his side in its debut season, Pereira said that his boys did not get enough time to prepare for the competition.

Shivajians have won only one of its eight matches till now. For Shillong Lajong, a slip up may lead to the relegation situation it had to overcome last season.
