Indian physio Monika Tarkar joins Leicester City

Tarkar, who hails from Mumbai, is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Exercise and Sports medicine (Football). The physio has previously worked with Indian national U14 and U16 girls football teams.

Former Indian women's national football team phsyio Monika Tarkar has signed a contract to work with English Premier League (EPL) champion Leicester City as a part-time academy physciotherapist.

Tarkar, who hails from Mumbai, is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Exercise and Sports medicine (Football). The physio has previously worked with Indian national U14 and U16 girls football teams.

Monika is the first Indian to study and practice at St. Georges Park, where the England national football team trains. She also has experience working with DNA Mumbai Games and Himachal Pradesh Football Association.
