French forward Kylian Mbappe scored from kick off for Paris Saint-Germain during the Ligue 1 match against Lille at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy in Villeneuve-d’Ascq, France on Sunday.

Neymar took the kick-off and passed the ball to Marco Verratti who passed it back to the Brazilian. Neymar then passed the ball for Lionel Messi who provided a long pass from inside PSG’s half with Mbappe timing his run through the Lille defense perfectly before finishing the move with his right foot to beat goalkeeper Leo Jardim.

Mbappe, with his eight-second goal, matched Ligue 1’s fastest goal record set by Michel Rio for Caen against Cannes on February 15, 1992.

This is Mbappe’s second goal of the season. PSG, with six points in two matches, could go top of the table with a win over Lille.
