Jasvir chipped in with seven points and was caught only twice in the match. Ajay Kumar (five points) lent a supporting role. Meraj Sheykh, who top-scored with 11 points, infused life late into the match for Delhi with a Super Tackle to nail the rival skipper. He scored a few points towards the end that added excitement to the tie but they couldn't thwart defeat.

Sheykh sprung to life in the second half after a subdued start. Fellow raider Kashiling Adake managed four points. Delhi remains seventh whereas, Jaipur, leads the table after its seventh win.

Coming into the match buoyed by a win over Puneri Paltans in the Kolkata leg, Jaipur faced tense early moments. Jasvir and Rajesh Narwal got trapped on their first raids. Delhi drew the first blood and was upping its ante.

Jasvir, then, settled down to stage a turnaround, winning raid points regularly. With adequate support, he took his team to a 9-5 lead as Delhi got all-out.

Delhi’s spirited response helped it come within three points away at the breather. But it couldn't snatch the victory from the Pink Panthers.
